Josh and Ellie’s Challenge

Josh’s daughter, Ellie, took the Secondary School Admissions Test (SSAT) in hopes of gaining admission to an independent school for ninth grade. When Ellie initially took the test, one of the biggest struggles she faced was effectively managing her time on unfamiliar questions. She unknowingly spent too much time trying to answer questions designed to challenge students in higher grade levels, and as a result, lost time that could have been spent answering questions she did know.
