Introduction

Application
The following steps are required to apply to Lawrenceville:

- Complete the online application through Gateway to Prep Schools (preferred) or the Standard Online Application
- Application fee: $50 for domestic applicants, $100 for international applicants

- Principal or counselor from current year
- English teacher from current or previous year
- Math teacher from current or previous year
- Submit official school reports and transcripts from the current and previous two years
- Deadline: January 15, 2025
- Take an admissions exam
- 9th and 10th grade applicants: SSAT, ISEE, and/or any state or district standardized test scores required

- International applicants who do not speak English as a first language and have not attended an English speaking school for the past four years are required to take the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English exam

Admissions Interview
Applicants will receive a link to sign up for the interview after submitting the inquiry form. Interviews are offered both in-person and virtually and are conducted from September through January. Day students must complete their interview by November 8, 2024.
Applicants and parents/guardians both attend the interview, which typically lasts about one hour. The applicant will interview for 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes for the parents/guardians to ask questions.
