Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to take practice tests in one sitting?
No. Our practice tests are designed to be flexible. While we recommend taking full-length practice tests under test-day conditions to build endurance, you can pause and resume your practice test at your convenience.
Do I have to complete all sections of the practice tests?
Not at all. You can skip sections to concentrate on the areas where you need extra practice. For example, if you’re strong in English and Reading but need to work on Math, you can skip the English and Reading sections.
That said, we recommend taking several full-length practice tests to build your endurance for test day.
What will I see on my score report?
As soon as you complete a practice test, you’ll receive a score report that shows your composite score and section scores. For each test section, you’ll also get a detailed analysis of your performance by question difficulty and type, along with a graph displaying your time per question. From here, you can review every question and access follow-up practice exercises.
What’s the personalized Prep Plan?
The personalized Prep Plan analyzes your practice test results, pinpoints areas for improvement, and generates tailored recommendations for what to work on next. It’s like having a virtual tutor assign you custom homework.
What is the Higher Score Guarantee?
The Higher Score Guarantee is included with Valedictorian Access and ACT + SAT Access. If you complete the active use requirements and don’t earn a higher score on the official ACT test, we’ll refund your purchase.

I have an accommodation for extra time. Can I still use your practice?
Absolutely! Our platform supports time accommodations for 1.5x and 2x the standard time.
To add accommodations, log in to your account, click on your name in the upper right corner, select “My Profile” from the drop-down menu, and choose your accommodation. The platform will adjust the timing for each section accordingly.
Which package is right for me?
Valedictorian Access includes all of our materials for the ACT test—10 full-length practice tests and 2,250+ additional practice questions. It’s our most popular option, and is recommended for anyone who has more than 2 weeks to prepare.
ACT + SAT Access is designed for students who are considering taking both tests. It includes all 10 practice tests and 2,250+ additional practice questions for the ACT test, plus 12 practice tests and 1,700+ additional practice questions for the SAT exam.
Scholar Access package includes 1 full-length practice test and 2,250+ additional practice questions. If you’re almost to your target scores but need some extra targeted practice in a few areas, this is a great option for you. It’s also a good choice if you have less than 2 weeks before your official test date.
Free Access includes a sample practice test for the enhanced ACT test. If you want to familiarize yourself with the new format, this is a great place to start.

Can I upgrade to a larger package?
Yes! Our packages build on each other, so when you upgrade, you will only need to pay for the additional materials. You’ll pay the price difference between packages, plus a $10 upgrade fee.
To upgrade, log in to your account and select any of the green upgrade buttons on the dashboard.
How long will I have access to my materials?
You’ll have access to your materials for 12 months after your purchase.
Who wrote your practice tests?
Our practice tests and questions are original, written by our team of test prep experts, and informed by feedback from our educational partners and students.
Do you also have paper practice tests?
All our practice tests can be taken online or on paper. To take a practice test on paper, simply download the PDF and enter your answers into our online scoring system.
What are the 2,250+ practice questions? Do they overlap with the questions on the practice tests?
Our practice questions provide additional targeted practice. They do not overlap with our practice tests, so you don’t have to worry about any spoilers.
You can access these additional questions from your Practice Exercises tab. You’ll also find personalized recommendations by clicking the suggested follow-up exercises on your completed practice test questions or by following your Prep Plan suggestions.
Do you also have practice for the SAT® exam?
