All about ISEE Scores

After families take the ISEE test, we often receive questions from confused test-takers and parents. Here are the answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about ISEE score reports.

When and how do I get to see my scores?

If you took a computerized version of the test at a school or Prometric test site, you’ll be able to view your score report within two weeks of your test date by logging into your ISEE account at https://www.erblearn.org/families/isee-by-erb/.

If you took the test on paper, you’ll receive a score report in the mail within 7-10 business days of your test date. You can access the score reports online only if you have requested expedited scoring and online access for an additional fee.

How do I send my scores to schools?

If you identified score recipient schools when you initially registered your ERB account, your score report will automatically be sent to those schools. If you’ve not yet added score recipients, you can do so at any time from your ERB account and choose the scores that you would like to send. For this reason, we recommend identifying recipient schools only after you’ve seen your score report.

Score reports are sent out electronically to the schools you’re applying to as early as the Monday after a Saturday exam, but may be posted on Wednesday or Friday afternoon as well. If you took the test online, scores may post more quickly.

What if I don’t like my scores?

If you did not identify score recipients at the time of registration, you can actually review your scores before deciding to send them to schools. If you have time, we recommend this option because it allows you to have control over which scores schools can see. Schools will not be able to see how many times you’ve taken the test, or which other schools you are applying to.

Remember that you can take the test up to three times per year, and depending on when your applications to schools are due, you can take the test again in a different ISEE testing season (August through November, December through March, and April through July).

If you find that you would like to prepare more before taking the test again, Test Innovators can help out with full-length practice tests and tutoring.
