All about SSAT scores

Since the January 7th test last weekend, we’ve been hearing this question a lot: where are my SSAT scores? Although we do not have access to your scores, we can definitely help answer a few questions.

When/how do I get to see my scores?

You will have access to your scores online within 2 weeks of your test date. To view your scores, you will need to log into your account at ssat.org – then click on the plus (+) button to the left of your test date.

How do I send my scores to schools?

You can select which schools to send your scores to using your account on the SSAT’s website. Full instructions can be found here.

You can add or remove score recipients when you register for the test initially, or at any time before you after you take the exam. Make sure that your scores are set to send before the date that they are due to the schools you are applying to!

What if I don’t like my scores?

If you are taking the test more than once, we recommend that you view both scores before deciding which ones to send to schools. If you have already set score recipients, you can remove them as long as it is before the scores are released. The SSAT does not “super score” – you cannot choose your highest individual section scores from multiple tests to send individually – you can only send full score reports. Reports will not list the number of times the SSAT was taken.

If you get your scores back and decide you want to prepare more before taking the test again, Test Innovators can help out with full-length practice tests and tutoring.

More information on viewing and sending scores can be found on the SSAT’s website here.
