You may know already that Test Innovators provides online tutoring, but perhaps you’re not convinced yet that online tutoring is the most effective way to help students prepare. To help persuade you, we’ve compiled a list of the unique benefits of online tutoring:
Online tutoring is more engaging.
The use of colorful drawing tools and other online technologies helps keep students engaged with the material.
Our tutors are test prep experts who work exclusively with the ISEE and SSAT.
They are experts on test strategies and know how to help students succeed.
Online tutoring means no travel time.
You can have a tutoring session from the comfort of your own home, or wherever is most convenient. There is no need to worry about getting to and from a tutoring center.
Greater flexibility.
You can pick times that work for you, and have sessions as often as you’d like – our tutors have flexible schedules.
More accessible materials.
With online tutoring, materials don’t need to be printed in advance – you’ll be able to access to a wealth of materials just a click away.
If you’re still not convinced, here’s one last bonus: every session is recorded and sent to parents afterward, so you’ll be able to see for yourself how successful our online tutors are at what they do.

2021 was another challenging year for all of us. As we reflect back on the year, however, we want to highlight some of the positive things we saw here at Test Innovators.
A student growth percentile (SGP) describes a student's growth compared to other students with the same initial test score. SGP is similar to a standard percentile, but instead of measuring student achievement compared to peers, SGP measures comparative growth. The Middle and Upper Level SSAT exams include two separate Quantitative Reasoning sections. Both are 25 questions long and take 30 minutes to complete. The Elementary Level SSAT only includes one Quantitative Reasoning section, which is the first section of the test, takes 30 minutes to complete, and is 30...
Each year, Test Innovators provides merit-based scholarships to help students access quality educational opportunities. We awarded five scholarships this year to students who demonstrated the most improvement on either the ISEE or the SSAT.
We are delighted to introduce Bella, one of our 2024 scholars. Through dedication and perseverance, Bella was able to increase her ISEE score by over 9%, scoring in the 99th percentile overall!
The Middle and Upper Level SSAT have six total sections. Two are unscored: the Writing Sample and the Experimental Section. The other four are scored: the two Quantitative (Math) Sections, the Reading Section, and the Verbal Section.
Students are required to learn mathematics, starting in first grade and continuing through most of high school. While we may not all enjoy math, there is no denying the beauty present in it. The Fibonacci sequence embodies this beauty.
The ACT Writing section is optional, but some schools require it—be sure to check your prospective schools’ application instructions. The team here at Test Innovators wants to ensure you are fully prepared for all parts of the test, including the Writing section.
