On a fast-paced timed test like the ISEE, you need to be able to effectively manage your time in order to score as many points as possible. Since every question on the test is worth the same amount of points, here’s our advice for maximizing your score:
1. Don’t waste time on hard questions.
2. Use a process for deciding which questions may or may not be worth your time.
3. Leave time at the end to bubble in an answer for every question.
Many of my students ask me how the ISEE essay is graded. I answer: It is not “graded” but rather sent to the schools to which you apply.
