Why Families Choose Test Innovators

SAT Prep Made Simple

We’ve helped over half a million students study for standardized tests, and we know what works. SAT prep can be broken down into three simple steps.

1. Take a Test

Get to know the content, format, and demands of the SAT by taking a full-length diagnostic test.

2. Review your Results

Analyze your score report, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and evaluate your time management skills.

3. Target Problem Areas

Review answer explanations for the questions you missed or skipped and complete suggested follow-up exercises.

Valedictorian Access includes all of our SAT materials—12 practice tests and 1,700+ additional practice questions. It’s our most popular option and is recommended for anyone who has more than 2 weeks to prepare.

Scholar Access includes 1 full-length SAT practice test and 1,700+ additional practice questions. If you’re almost to your target scores but need some extra targeted practice in a few areas, this is a great option for you. It’s also a good choice if you have less than 2 weeks before your official test date.

Free Access includes a sample SAT practice test. If you want to get a quick overview of the kinds of questions that appear on the digital SAT, this is a great place to start.

We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Please reach out via support@testinnovators.com.

The free sample test is a shorter version of the SAT. Like all of our practice tests, it is computer adaptive. However, the sample test is shorter than a full-length SAT with only 10 questions per module.

The sample test is a great introduction to the digital SAT and the Test Innovators platform. You can get a sense of what kinds of questions and topics appear on SAT while trying out the features of our platform.

Yes! Our packages build on each other, so when you upgrade, you will only need to pay for the additional materials. You’ll pay the price difference between packages, plus a $10 upgrade fee.

To upgrade, log in to your account and select any of the green upgrade buttons on the dashboard.

You’ll be able to access your materials for 12 months after your purchase.

No, our practice tests are flexible. While we encourage you to take frequent practice tests under test-day conditions, you can take individual test sections as well as pause practice tests and come back to them later.

No. You can take just one section at a time so you can focus on the areas that need the most work. For example, if you’re strong in Reading and Writing but want to improve your Math score, you can skip the Reading and Writing section.

That said, it’s a good idea to take several full-length practice tests to build your endurance for test day.

Yes. Every question on our SAT platform has a full answer explanation that tells you why the correct answer is correct and why the other choices are incorrect.

Every practice test question also has a suggested follow-up exercise, which takes you to a set of similar practice questions for additional targeted practice.

Yes. You can set 1.5x time or 2x time for your practice tests. The platform will automatically adjust the timing for each module.

To add accommodations, log in to your Dashboard and select your name in the upper right corner. A drop-down menu will appear. Select “My Profile” and choose your accommodation.

Our practice questions were written by our team of SAT experts, drawing on materials published by College Board, feedback from students who have taken the official SAT, and insights from our educational partners.

Yes, all of our SAT practice tests are computer adaptive, just like the official SAT. Each section is divided into two modules. The platform will evaluate your performance on Module 1 and automatically route you to either Module 2–Easy or Module 2–Hard. You’ll be able to see which Module 2 you landed in when you complete the section.

Our practice questions provide additional targeted practice. They are completely unique from our practice tests, so you don’t have to worry about any spoilers.

These practice questions are organized into short, targeted sets and cover every content domain and testing point on the digital SAT. Roughly half are Reading and Writing practice questions, and half are Math practice questions.

You can access these additional questions from your “Practice Exercises” tab or by clicking on the suggested follow-up exercises on your completed practice test questions.

Just like the actual digital SAT, we use an IRT scoring model that has been calibrated with real student data from a set of over 1,000 students. We regularly evaluate our grading algorithm and update it as needed to ensure that it is accurate.

Learn more about how the digital SAT is scored in this episode of the Tests and the Rest podcast featuring Brenna O’Neill, president of Test Innovators.

As soon as you complete a practice test, you’ll receive a score report. On the summary page, you’ll be able to see your total score, your two section scores, and which Module 2 (easy or hard) you landed in for each section.

You can then look at an analysis of each module to see a breakdown of your performance by question difficulty and by question type, as well as a graph showing how long you spent on each question.

From here, you can review each individual test question to see what you answered correctly or incorrectly. For every question, there is an answer explanation and a link to a follow-up practice exercise.

Yes! When you complete a section, you’ll be able to see if you landed in Module 2–Easy or Module 2–Hard on the analysis page.
