Meet Our 2020 A Better Chance Scholars

Test Innovators is committed to helping students gain access to quality education and opportunities. In support of this mission, we partner with access organizations and provide scholarships for test preparation and school tuition.

We are excited to introduce our 2020 A Better Chance Scholars! We selected six students for our A Better Chance Scholarship. To be eligible for the scholarship, students had to successfully complete the Test Innovators A Better Chance (ABC) 2019 Summer Preparation Course. The Test Innovators ABC Prep Course is a rigorous online course that prepares students for the ISEE and SSAT. The 9-week course involves over 60 hours of lessons and requires students to complete daily quizzes and weekly homework assignments.

Of the students who completed our 2019 ABC Prep Course, we selected three students with the greatest overall score improvement and three students with the greatest possible score improvement. The three students with the greatest overall score improvement were Arjun, Gavin, and Olivia, and the three students with the greatest possible score improvement were Cesar, Jacqlene, and Jacques. Recipients were awarded $1,000 towards tuition at their new school.

Arjun increased his score by 29 percentile points. He will be attending Grace Church School for 8th grade this fall.

Gavin increased his score by 25 percentile points. He will be attending Ethical Culture Fieldston School for 6th grade this fall.

Olivia increased her score by 25 percentile points. She will be attending Woodward Academy for 7th grade this fall.
